We're one of those businesses you may read about - one that started in a garage in Melbourne and became one of
Australia's most popular brands.
Oh Barney started life as a Pet Accessories brand in 2019 - named after Barney aka Our Boss. A serial
micro-manager, perfectionist and advocate of delegation, Barney has been the source of inspiration on our
journey, and has made giving tummy tickles to your boss not weird.
Our Story

Our Portraits
As the world fell apart in March 2020, we were hit with a stock crisis for our Pet Accessories. We turned to
Barney in our time of need and as a true leader, he telepathically recommended we take his business down a
different path - one where pets could be celebrated and remembered on the walls of Australian's homes. What a
good boy!
We already had a very creative team in place, so we began perfecting our artworks and continued to develop to
the amazing portraits we produce today!
Our Portraits

We're passionate about providing nothing but the best service. We give each other high fives (even Barney) when
we get another amazing review - we've had lots of high fives!
The realisation that our products and service helps to heal so many broken hearts, brings so many smiles and
creates so many conversations is what fuels our fire.
